This moment will forever remain edged in memory the moment at Kabul Airport. When thousands of desperate Afghans were seen literally falling over each other to escape the country after Taliban takeover yes terrorist rule in Afghanistan is back after a break of 20 years.  Make no mistake this is the day of make no mistake this is the day of utter disgrace for the United States of  America and a personal humiliation for President Joe Biden who has presided over this fall of Afghanistan to fundamentalist terrorists as Taliban fighters took over Kabul last evening Afghan Nationals in the U.S.  Protested against vital on your screen are visuals showing scores of Afghan Nationals gather outside the White House.

This is not us, Biden you betrayed us, Biden you are responsible for this.  Biden you betrayed us.  Biden you are responsible and the slogans that are going to haunt the U.S. For years to come.  Fair or unfair Joe Biden will go down in history as the U.S. President who presided over the humiliating final act in the American Experiment in Afghanistan. 

This is the same Joe Biden who just a few weeks ago had struck a defiant pose and said that there was not way that Taliban can overrun and take over Afghanistan he had also confidently decried any comparisons with Vietnam saying there’s going to be no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States in Afghanistan. 

This words came back to bit him in just two weeks as a comparable scene unfolded with US Helicopters scrambling to evacuate diplomats and staff from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul many critics even called it Biden’s Saigon.

It’s not that Joe Biden did not know the risks more than once he has himself noted how he came into the oval office with more foreign policy experience than any other recent U.S. President yet he got it horribly wrong.  Worse he and his team even failed to get the interpreters in others who helped U.S. forces out of Afghanistan in time.  This in despite the fact that they had months to plan and prepare. 

Remember Biden had announced the decision to withdraw American Troops from Afghanistan in April,  so how did President Biden get this so wrong?  This is the first question that CNN news anchor Jake Tapper posed to the U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Bilkin on a Sunday morning show and it captures the essence of how the rest of the world is viewing Biden’s recent decisions on Afghanistan.

Sure, Donald Trump was the one who cut the deal with the Taliban in the first place,  but Trump had a plan with conditions.  Biden tried to shift the blame on Trump, saying he had inherited a deal cut by his predecessor.  But it does not take away the fact that it is Joe Biden who will own and have to live with the consequences of this very hasty withdrawal of troops and the  consequences way heavy for the Afghan People it is an uncertain fearful return of radical Islamic terrorists and absence of human rights for the women it’s a dark nightmare where stoning for adultery, loss of freedom, rapes, killings are common place.

For the world there is the forwarding sense that Afghanistan will once again become happy hunting ground for terrorists exporting extremism to the world for years to come.
