Great Man of History by Victor Davis Hanson

Great Man of History – In this exclusive GB News interview, historian and conservative thinker Victor Davis Hanson dives into why he believes Donald Trump is a ” great many of history.”  Hanson reflects on Trump’s improbable rise of power and his enduring influence despite relentless opposition.

He offers his insights on Trump’s leadership, his picks for reshaping institutions like the FBI, and the historical context of the FBI and CIA’s controversial roles.  Hanson also breaks down why Kamala Harris has struggled to resonate with the American public and failed to meet expectations.

Listed are a few reasons that Victor believes make his a Great Man of History:

Trump has created the most amazing political comeback in America history. The 16 states that tried to take him off the ballot and a first the two impeachments’ the trial as a private citizen and then of course the two assassination attempts.  Wage a campaign in which he was outspent 2 and half to one and yet he overcame all of that,  it was amazing achievement.  Donald Trump was announced as “Time Person of the Year.”

Victor believes that Trump has created the most amazing political comeback in American history.  Much greater than Harry Truman’s 1948 election, much greater than Richard Nixon after his 62 gubernatorial defeat in California. He came back and became President and much greater than sort of midterm recoveries of people like Obama and Clinton who had been slacked in the midterms.  It was because it wasn’t just a political recovery it was psychological, legal, and cultural recovery.

Victor also compares Trump to Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, and even George Wallace.  He credits Trump’s showmanship like getting into a garbage truck after Biden called MAGA Patriots garbage, and also working at McDonalds.  These were great moments in the campaign.

Victor Davis Hanson is an American classicist, military historian and conservative political commentator.  He has written many books, approximately 32 books.
